(More customer reviews)The item itself is very good, excelent materials amazing construction, adjustments are easy and the fact that the base can be mounted on the side or deck is amazing, the only issue I had was that the item description does not include the sizes (specially for the base), in my case I wanted to install this on a small 8 foot boat which has a 1 1/2" rail all arround the top of the boat, weel the base holes for the screws are 1 3/8" and inches apart which makes the screws barelly fit on the borders of the rails and the overall size of the base is 2" x 4" which requiered a little fitting in my case.
this is not at all an issue with the product itself, but would be nice if the product page included this sizes.
