(More customer reviews)With the way my Tracker Guide V14 gunwale is configured, I didn't want to start drilling holes in the hull just to have rod holders- so this was the perfect solution. When I received it, I noticed it was heavy duty- but had nothing to protect from scratching the paint on my boat. I used a bit of rubber truck canopy seal and adhered it to the underside of the clamp- then it worked perfectly. The cost was a little much, but was worth it for the quality.
