(More customer reviews)I received my rod and reel combo today. I put the line on it and headed to the pond to test it out. This reel and rod combo worked excellent. The reel is as smooth as you could possibly get. I have other spinning reels that cost three times as much as I gave for this combo that don't handle as well as the Quantam. For the price this combination cannot be beaten. I highly recommend that you had better get you one before they sell out. Another thing I might add wal-mart can't beat this price, the reel alone cost more than the rod and reel together. Great buy for the money.
