Loomis safe and secure on a 14' Liquid Logic Stingray sit-in kayak.Installed easily, looks nice and very well constructed.My only concern is that the rod is secured by a soft rubber strap that streches into place and prevents the rod from slipping out.If that strap is lost or broken, the rod holder will no longer function properly.Has not been a problem so far but simply a concern.Mounted on a kayak, the rod holder allows you to troll with your fly rod which, in the seatrout rich waters of Apalachee Bay in Florida, can be very effective.
