Received item earlier than expected and it was well packed in a cardboard shipper. Since I am familiar with Lamiglass products there was no surprise with quality and finish.As for performance great casting distance for reef fishing in Hawaii.Excellent power when hooked with fish.Rod was a litter softer than expected on initial hookup (for Lamiglass).Well balanced medium light fishing rod.Works great with 8 lb line and 1/2 oz leads.Thinner lighter lines would be ideal for this rod.Overall, Great performance, Good value, Highly recommend.
