(More customer reviews)This rod has provided me with hours and hours of trouble-free fishing. I use it to fish for stripers in the Hudson River. The guides appear very strong and casting is accurate. The butt of the rod is rather short so make sure that your reel isn't to heavy or your rod will be off balance. Also, heavier lures will work better because of the medium action. All in all, the rod has fufilled all the hopes I had for it and it appears strong enough to last for many seasons to come.
